Cornwall, England
A five piece Ceildh band based in West Cornwall playing a lively mix of upbeat, high energy Celtic folk music. Tunes, songs and dances.
An excellent choice if you want everyone to have fun through fabulous music and dance. From the minute they start you can guarantee a smile on everyone's face. The dances are well explained and easy to follow. An absolute joy from start to finish, Highly recommended.
We booked Whippletree for my 50th birthday party "hoedown" and it was a storming success. They got everyone dancing, even the ones you'd think there was no chance :-)
I organised a 200+ Person formal dinner with speeches and presentations, but wanted something really different for our entertainment. Whippletree really came through and bought the night alive. So much so that the Lord Mayor of Plymouth asked if they were playing at the next dinner as she had so much fun, she wanted to see them again. They managed to pry even the shyest wall flowers out of their seats to join in. I can not recommend them enough. Pete
What a talented, easy going, toe tapping bunch they are.. wonderfully entertaining... so much so, that we keep getting them back for our charity Barn dances ... and go to see them at other events when possible. Guaranteed a fun experience.
Worked and booked these guys many times over the years, for festivals and also private functions. Their attitude and work ethic and sound is great, very lively and always an entertaining set, when Chris does the calling he explains everything needed for a pleasurable evening. Have known them for years and as a group of talented musicians, they get better and better, each time I hear them.
Whippletree are a fabulous band and such lovely people playing. They have played for us several times and again later this year. I couldn't ask for anyone better or more experienced to come and play for us. I can't recommend them enough......fantastic!
I've booked Whippletree several times over the last few years and they are absolutely brilliant! I'd challenge anyone to keep their feet still while they are playing and I recommend them highly!
