Tony was very professional and attentive to our needs in the run up to our office Christmas party. It's difficult to keep 100+ guests of all ages and backgrounds happy, but Tony's colleague Zack did a good job and was more than happy to take requests all night.

Tony was great at keeping in touch with us from the moment we contacted him. He was always open to our suggestions in terms of songs and really got everyone up dancing. The additional around the room lighting set the mood and came in a variety of colours. Will be using this service again, thanks Tony again

I have never used Tony before, he was highly recommended to me by 2 of my friends who had used him for previous events. This will definitely not be the last time I use Tony. Simply amazing. He played all the right songs and the right time and took into account people’s requests. He consistently made sure I was happy with the music throughout the night. I had nothing but amazing compliments on the music and I thank him for making my birthday special. I can’t recommend Tony enough. He is an absolute legend. Thank you Tony.

Tony is an absolutely wonderful DJ. Exceedingly polite and timely. Did everything promised and kept in contact with me all the time even though Tony was booked many months before my wedding. Excellent DJ, Planning your wedding can be stressful but I can honestly say the best decision I made was booking Tony as our DJ/ Venue decorations. He is very professional, very attentive to his customers and knows how to please a crowd. This is the first time I've used Tony Poole Discos and it definitely won't be the last!!! Tony was amazing and had everyone dancing all night and in fact they didn't want him to stop! He played music to cater for everyone as it was my daughters 21st so she had a few young people there but there was also some older people. He knew what to play and when to play it so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. In fact it's my son's 21st in a couple of years time and I will definitely go back to him. I have been to many parties where Tony has been the DJ. He cares so much about what he does. The rooms always look amazing with the lights and the dance floor is always rocking! Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

I've been to a couple of parties where Tony Poole was the DJ. His disco set up and lighting was really impressive and the music he played made sure the dance floor was packed all night. I really like the way he interacts with the crowd and generates a fantastic atmosphere. They were both brilliant nights and it wasn't just me saying it. At the most recent party he also put down a white twinkling dance floor and provided a photo booth. The floor was clean and worked perfectly all night and the man operating the photo booth smiled and chatted with us while we had a photos taken. This makes a change from others I've used where the operator is too busy looking at his phone and more interested in smoking outside! Keep up the good work Tony. 5 stars and thoroughly deserved.

Tony was the DJ for the Theydon Bois Primary School fireworks display. He was professional and helpful as always. The music was great and really added to the atmosphere. Having a DJ at a large event was also a bonus to provide safety announcements and a place to contact lost children and belongings. Thanks Tony - much appreciated!

Tony did a fantastic job at my "significant" birthday. Being an old punk rocker I had quite a few tunes on my list that are not what you would call "dance floor fillers" but he gamely played them all in such as order that people were up and dancing all night long. The lighting he brought along was brilliant and transformed the hall so it felt like a nightclub. We hired Tony to DJ at my 50th Birthday party. We knew how good he was having attended a friends party, but he totally exceeded all expectations. From managing my many requests and wobbles about what I wanted in the run up to the party, to the night itself, he was fantastic. I wouldn't recommend any other DJ for your wedding! Tony was a pure professional from the beginning of our wedding process until the very bitter end (12am on the night of our wedding)! No request was too big and throughout the entire day Tony wasn't just our DJ but our ceremony musician and comperer too! Tony Poole provided an awesome night of music for my 40th party on Saturday and kept everyone up dancing with his banging play list! I've never known so many comments from friends about how much they enjoyed the music at a party. The lighting provided also completely changed the venue and made it look like a very special setting to celebrate in. Nothing is ever too big for these guys and they pull out all the stops to make it a night to remember. They play a mixture of music which gets everyone up dancing and singing. Top notch!!! On the day of our wedding the DJ provided excellent music perfectly suited to a wedding. They read the room well and got even our aunts and uncles on the dance floor! He handled the toasts and announcements smoothly and seamlessly switched from romantic dinner music to lively music for dancing. During the planning process they were very professional and attentive. We didn't have much clue as to our music preferences but they were able to guide us and couldn't be happier with the results. We literally asked them for "wedding-y music" and they absolutely delivered! It was very easy to sort out with them what to use as our entrance and first dance music. They coordinated very well with the venue to seamlessly set up and sort out the timings of the day. We were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy our day knowing that it was left in capable hands. We had been planning our wedding well over a year in advance and secured Tony as soon as we could. He was great at communicating in the build up to the wedding, and were so glad he recommended the uplighting and dance floor, as it really added to the atmosphere of the evening! Tony Poole helped to make a very special occasion completely unforgettable. From start to finish I knew I was dealing with an absolute Professional who genuinely cared about the experience he was offering. He's the only person I will consider using in future. Tony provided the music for my sisters wedding at Broxbourne Golf Course recently. His set up is exceptional, he provided a top of the range wireless microphone which worked perfectly for the ceremony and the speeches. The lighting rig he fixed up was really cool and unusual, not your standard rigging at all of lasers and flashing overpowering beams and they highlighted the photos of the guests dancing in a really positive way. The tunes he played were completely on point and filled the outdoor dance floor in seconds. The wedding was at 3pm, Tony was set up and ready to go before then and didn't complete his shift until midnight. Tony was a great, professional and personable DJ who helped to make the day excel. You don't need to consider anyone else, it's all about Tony Poole Discos. Thanks Tony for all your hard work!

Just wanted to say, fantastic DJ Brilliant selection of music, for young and old. Had no complaints about the music selection at all. Tony DJ'd at our wedding a few weeks back and was brilliant! He accommodated for our rather large music request list and managed to source some country music to play for us, he provided a mic for us during speeches and was really quick and witty with introduction music for our speeches too! One of our main points of appreciation was that Tony trusted our decision when we decided to continue with our outdoor wedding despite the awful weather in the morning of our day, and he managed to accommodate our request even when it was high winds during his set up- which meant taping down his equipment!! So many people have commented on how great he was. Without him we wouldn't have had the amazing day we did. It goes without saying that Tony is one of the best in the biz and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone locally! Thank you Tony and how about an anniversary party next June for a repeat?! Wedding reception last Saturday night. Friendly and professional outfit. Easy to deal with and reasonably priced. Organising an event can be a headache. Dealing with the music side through Tony is basically one less thing to worry about when you're putting everything else together for the do. Excellent DJ on the night and great tunes. You can always tell a good DJ, if the event is buzzing and the guests are dancing - and that was certainly the case for our party. We spent some time deliberating as to whether we should have a DJ at our Wedding as we had a band booked that also offered a Laptop DJ service. Tony Poole came highly recommended to us and thankfully we were able to secure his services. We are so glad that we did, as Tony was professional, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He gave us sound advice from his years of experience and was able to gauge the music to suit the people present at our wedding catering for everyone. We seriously cannot recommend Tony Poole Discos highly enough. He really helped make our night so special and got more people up dancing than the band ever could. He even captured snaps from the evening which showed the fun that the guests were having.
