This band was amazing. They played at our wedding and played our first dance song live which was beautiful. All the guests commented on how great the band was. They played a fantastic range of songs and the communication from booking them to after the event is fantastic. I would recommend them to anybody

Had 'The Players' for our wedding. Absolutely brilliant and professional. Learnt our first dance song, got the crowd dancing and played some great songs. The most amazing wedding band!! If we could do our wedding over they would be the first thing on the list! One year on and we still can't say enough good things. We had so many compliments about our choice of band, they sang a request for our first dance, were so easy to deal with and just made our night!

From first contacting The Players, to them leaving the event they have been an absolute dream to work with and here are some examples why. They are one of our only wedding suppliers who were genuinely keen we were put first and it wasn’t just another wedding to turn up to, they invited us to see them before us paying deposits, they remembered on the day to contact us to see if we were still coming and asked us to introduce ourselves, they sent over a set list and replaced songs we didn’t like, proactively contacted the venue with PAT certificates vs coming through us as the go between and talked to us about the venue so we could prepare for what to expect with sound limitations etc. They arrived, were ready and learnt our first song. Everyone raved about how amazing the band were. We are not a group of big dancers but even the most unlikely were up on their feet. I could not recommend this group enough and will be taking trips down memory lane to see them in York. Seriously seriously amazing!

We booked The Players after seeing them at our friend's wedding last year. Really lovely people, great musicians, great voice! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the band. Good mix of music for all ages but without all the typical cheesy wedding songs (which was a must for us!) They did a fantastic version of 'just like heaven' by The Cure for our first dance - we loved it! Thanks for helping to make our day so special
