Her style is influenced by Diana Ross, Martha Reeves, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill and Corinne Bailey-Rae to name a few. Tashara has also created and performs with 'Sleeke' a sexy and dynamic female vocal harmony group performing a variety of live music entertainment including Motown, Soul Disco, 90s Rnb, Tribute’s, pop and original music. Tashara performs her sets with the following options: As a Soloist - accompanied by professional backing tracks As a female trio including 70s, 80s 90s soul and pop music, which includes sleek choreography and melodic harmonies – also accompanied by professional backing tracks As a Guitar and/or Piano Duo/Trio With a Live band Tashara has written, recorded and released her original music, directed music videos choreographed and produced a range of music entertainment shows - Sleeke Entertainment, toured the world as a soloist and with music legends such as Soul II Soul, Jazzie B and Caron Wheeler. Tashara has also worked with Paloma Faith and the Faithettes, James Arthur, Leona Lewis, Jools Holland, SEL Soul and The Midnight Soul sisters. Tashara sang one of my favourites songs, 'You're a Star', at my son's dedication in June and we all loved it. It felt as if she had written it just for his special day and she actually sang it to him which really made it so beautiful. He is just 18 months old but he was captivated. Her delivery was seamless and very professional, actually, something happened to her mic as she was singing and she just continued as if nothing happened and did a very subtle signal to the sound guy at the church, who then turned her mic back on. Thank you Tashara, I can't wait for you to release 'You're a Star' so that I can buy an autographed CD for us to enjoy at home. Tashara performed twice on our Piano Stage at Hope Festival this year. We all hope she will return next year as she was one of the highlights of the weekend.
