"Dan played the piano for my mother's 95th birthday party. As my mother has dementia, it was important to find someone who knows her favourite 1940's songs and is able to encourage a relaxed atmosphere. She had a lovely time and enjoyed singing along to her favourite songs and a number of songs Dan suggested. He fitted in very well with us and kept my mother engaged and our guests entertained. Dan was very well prepared with a good song list and a very pleasant attitude which helped make the party enjoyable."

We chose Dan to play at our wedding after sampling various musicians online. What stood out about Dan among the rest was not only his playing ability but also the depth of genres that he could play and his flexibility. Dan was able to give us guidance on additional pieces of music that incorporated our initial ideas, in order to help us create the atmosphere that we wanted. Dan gave both myself and Fiancé confidence in an area we knew little about and when the big day arrived, Dan's suggestions and guidance coupled with an amazing performance really put the cherry on top of the metaphorical wedding cake! "I had the absolute pleasure of walking down the aisle to the sound of Dan playing our chosen song at our church wedding and the memories continue to give me goosebumps. We met with Dan a few months before our wedding and we knew straight away that we wanted him to play in the church. A gifted pianist, he was open to playing anything and offered us many ideas. We would definitely recommend Dan, he completely took the stress away from us, all I had to do was walk down the aisle and enjoy our service. He added that extra special touch. We chose Dan to play for us at our wedding. From the first moment I got in touch with Dan, he was nothing but helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He provided advice and guidance, but also made it clear that it was our day and so he would fit in with whatever we chose. On the day itself, he and his wife arrived early to set up, and were very professional throughout. The music we had chosen was played beautifully and they then also stayed and played for us during our reception drinks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan if you are looking for a pianist for your wedding or another celebratory event. You will find him a delight to deal with and a wonderful pianist.

Thank you for providing the music for my father's 80th and my daughters 10th joint Birthday party recently. You were a big hit with both adults and kids. There aren't many musicians who can entertain older adults and small children at the same time and the combination of drumming and piano music that you provided for us was perfect. The girls particularly enjoyed singing the songs from ""Frozen"" and nearly everyone joined in with the drums! Thank you also for being so flexible with the choice of music to the extent of buying extra sheet music that we wanted at short notice – my parents were surprised and delighted to hear so many of their old favourites. Just a note to thank you so very much for your fantastic piano playing on Friday at our daughter’s wedding! From the very outset you helped us so much, and we were very pleased at how you ‘got involved’ and made such valuable suggestions prior to the big day. As we had chosen more ‘pop’ music for the event, we were not sure how it would translate into a piano solo, and your reassurance on this was invaluable. You were so receptive to our ideas, and keen to find out exactly what we wanted for our ‘big day’, and ensure that you delivered just what we wanted! Needless to say, your piano playing was superb, and the ceremony music we had chosen sounded fantastic. Many of our guests also commented on how much they enjoyed your extensive repertoire both before and after the actual ceremony pieces. We were impressed at how smartly attired you were, clearly making the effort to fit in with the type of event – this is so important. You were attentive, polite, chatty and great fun – we could not have wished for anyone better! Once again, thank you for helping to make our daughter’s wedding day so special!

We chose Dan, after listening to a lot of musicians, for the way he played and the variety of music styles on his repertoire. He played at our ceremony at the church in such a beautiful and emotional way that made my wife cry during her walk down the aisle. When I arrived at the church he was already there and everything was set up for the ceremony. He also did a great job during our drinks reception playing all the music we wanted him to play besides his recommendations. We strongly recommend Dan if you want an amazing professional that makes your life really easy on a day as stressful as a wedding day. Dan set the perfect atmosphere at our wedding playing the piano we had hired. He is an exceptional piano player, playing both classical and contemporary music, and it was commented by both guests and staff at the venue how talented he was, and what a great idea it was to have him playing during the wedding breakfast.
