I would just like to say how amazing Cairn String Quartet where at our wedding. They played throughout the ceremony and after. They played songs that meant a lot to us and went through our playlist which was very personal for us. They were very professional and lovely ladies. I would highly recommend them. Thanks again.
Our daughter Nicola Macara recently married Chris Haston at Cameron House Hotel. The Cairn String Quartet entertained the guests before the Ceremony and then played Chris and Nicola's 'special' playlist during the Ceremony. They were superb! The standard of music was outstanding in all respects. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the repertoire that had been put together in conjunction with the Bride and Groom. They could not have been more help in assembling the playlist and were always open to suggestion. They enhanced what was a very special day and we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for top class musicians.
We have had lots of compliments from our guest on how entertaining the quartet were throughout our wedding day. The variety and quality of their repertoire was outstanding and the sound the strings made was just beautiful. With Annemarie's help, we were able to personalise our day with our favourite songs. Even though I was fashionably late I've been told nobody really noticed because they were enjoying the music so much! Would highly recommend.
The Cairn String Quartet played at our wedding at Cameron House in December 2016. They were fantastic from start to finish. We live 500 miles from our wedding venue and a long way from the quartet but contact was very easy and emails were always replied to very quickly. The list of songs to chose from was massive and we managed to get all of our favourites in there, the Quartet even learnt one of my all time favourites just for our big day and played it so well, making our special day even more special. All guests have commented at how good they were and how much they enjoyed them. I cant thank them enough and would recommend them to anybody considering a quartet for their big day.
Cairn String Quartet played at our wedding at Myres Castle on 22 June and they were simply fantastic. Rave reviews from all guests and the mix of music they were able to play was exceptional. Booking Packages
“Can't Help Falling in Love”- The Wedding Ceremony Package
This package includes music for thirty minutes before the ceremony to entertain your guests whilst they take their seats. We will then play for your ceremony, wherever required, including the bridal procession, recession, the signing of the register or a silent prayer. We will also accompany and lead any hymns you have chosen. Best of all, this package includes an arrangement of any song of your choice that we don't currently have on our playlist, to be premiered at your wedding.
“If You Like Pina Colada’s” - The Drinks Reception Package
Already organised your Wedding Ceremony Music? The Cairn String Quartet will be set up and ready to greet your guests as they arrive for the drinks reception with a playlist of your choice (or indeed, your guests own requests)
“Sugar Pie Honey Bunch” - The Wedding Breakfast Package
Avoid the scraping of plates and the sound of munching - we can accompany your wedding breakfast instead! Book for a total of 1.5 hours, creating the perfect transition to your evening reception!

“The Power of Love” - The Ceremony & Drinks Reception Package
The Cairn String Quartet can provide the perfect musical backdrop to your champagne reception. You can book Cairn Quartet for a total of 2.5 hours with our Ceremony & Reception package. This package comprises of music for your pre-ceremony and ceremony, including all of the features of the ceremony package. The quartet will then perform after your ceremony from the beginning of your drink reception; entertaining your guests while you are whisked away for your photographs and creating the perfect transition to your evening reception.
“You Shook Me All Night Long” - The All-Day Package
Cairn String Quartet are happy to announce a new All Day Package. Glide down the Aisle to Pachelbel, Rock Up the Reception to Rihanna and Swing through your Wedding Breakfast with Scotland's most sought after String Quartet. This is a 5 hours package including music for your Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast Package not exceeding 5 hours.
