Boogie Wookie

We recently booked Boogie Wookie for our wedding party and we could not have been happier. We already knew we loved their sound (and particularly Kirsty's voice) from their promo videos on their website but what we didn't know is how good the band would be a getting everyone on the dance floor. Whilst their songs were not my normal 'favourites' they were far better choices to get everyone involved. Everybody from my 5 year old niece to my 75 year old mother-in-law were up dancing and all our guests couldn't stop saying how great the music was. As normal, we ran a bit behind on the day but Kirsty and the guys were super relaxed in pushing back the set times for us. Thanks so much guys for making our party one to remember and helping us dance the night away. We'll definitely keep Boogie Wookie in mind for our future family parties!

You guys were incredible! Thank you so much for playing at our wedding! The variation in songs you played gave everyone something to dance too. And I don't think the dance floor was empty at anyone point. Totally made it for us. I'd get married all over again just to have you play it!

Boogie Wookie delivered a brilliant performance at our wedding reception. They are all clearly very talented and the lead singer has a truly amazing voice. We have received countless of messages from guests praising the band we had so would like to say thank you to the band.

Boogie Wookie were incredible at my wedding! They set up during dinner and sound checked shortly after – no fuss (as far as I'm aware). They were very thoughtful and even learned a song (Too Much by Sampha) to play acoustically for our first dance – thank you Kirsty and band. They were professional and friendly throughout, helpful making some announcements to the guests when needed. And they were kind enough to let my friend (and DJ) using their speaker system in their break. They sounded amazing and really got people dancing with their covers of modern pop and classic soul songs. I and the guests loved them! Highly highly recommended! Book them if you get the chance.

The music was just what we wanted for our birthday lunch party and the band could not have been more charming and helpful. They brought a ray of sunshine to a wet day in Roehampton !
