We had many compliments regarding the band and everyone thought you guys were brilliant. I don't even think you took a break (or maybe that was just the bride) which never happens but so much appreciated if ye didn't . Its a lot of money to spend for a band to take a break. I will be definitely be recommending you to anyone having a wedding All the best and thanks again

Hey guys just wanted to say again thank you so much Here is a review, please post and share it on your pages. We booked Blacktye from Australia. We never got to see them perform live but we took a risk and my goodness did it pay off. Darragh was helpful all the way through and I felt very relaxed. Guys - You are by far the best band I have ever seen. A group of seriously talented musicians who are flawless. The mix of male and female voices, and the unexpected rapping was a treat. You got everyone on the dance floor and knew exactly how to work the crowd. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the band. You had amazing interaction with the crowd and were the icing on the cake! You truly made our day and we will forever be grateful. We booked them for the drinks reception, band and DJ. Thank you for everything. You have been so easy to deal with from start to finish.

My husband and I were lucky enough to book Darragh and the gang for our big day last week. They were so great that we felt sad to leave the reception to have to go and get our photos done, was too busy enjoying the music! All of Blacktye are just so friendly and accommodating, almost wish I could do it all over again just to hear them play. Would 100% recommend to anyone, they are worth every penny! Thanks again xx

I honestly think that Blacktye are the best wedding band in Ireland! We went to a live showcase and loved their sound. They were incredibly flexible in learning our first dance song. The dance floor was packed all night long. Their performance at the drinks was perfect. Moreover, they were very exceptional value for the package we went for. I would 100% recommend having them play at your wedding.

Blacktye are more than a run-of-the mill wedding band. They are a real band that have such a good rapport with one another on stage it shines through and adds to the atmosphere. There is no awkwardness or cringeyness about them which we hsd found with other wedding bands that we went to see.They are so comfortable on stage I felt I had nothing to worry about. They were very entertaining all night long and their energy was infectious.They could read the crowd so well and played something for everybody from waltzes to raves! It was such a delight seeing my mother run to find her sister to waltz or jive to a particular song they might have loved as teenagers. She was so impressed and is still talking about it 3 weeks on. I feel like we were so lucky to have found them and would highly recommend Blacktye.

Darragh was extremely helpful from the time we booked the band up until our last minute questions during the week of the wedding. We didn't have a specific playlist in mind so Darragh suggested we let him read the room and it was a great suggestion. From the first song the band played to the end of the dj set, Blacktye had the entire room dancing and having an amazing experience. Blacktye played music from all genres with their own great spin on it. Me and my wife could not be happier with how the night went and we would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone. 5 star band.

They guys where brilliant from our first contact with them.. Our dance floor was full all night and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend Blacktye

As the groom we just wanted to thank Darragh and Blacktye for being the perfect band and DJ for our wedding. We had a ball. The band is unbelievable talented and versatile and were outstanding. The songs they selected and performed were perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better band or set of guys to help us celebrate and get the party started. Darragh had a few tricks to get everyone up and dancing and the band were very accommodating of our requests. Darragh was also great in the build up, very responsive and always available. We would honestly recommend the band to anyone planning a wedding and if you enjoy it even half as much as we did then it will be the best day of your life! We can’t thank them enough

Everyone from the night said how brilliant they were and even down to the dj part of the night it was still a massive hit where nobody wanted it to end.
