Billy Thompson Gypsy Style

What a wonderful sound Billy and his group create. Lively but easy to listen to. They connect in an excellent way with their audience. A fantastic evening in their company

Having looked around everywhere for a Gypsy Jazz band I came across a video of Billy playing on You Tube - it was great, and live he was better! We had Billy and the band to play at our party at Galeri Caernarfon after we came back from our wedding abroad. Fantastic performance, and Billy a star who got the crowd really into it all, and we were all dancing (or at least trying to). Billy himself was lovely and accomodating, and was happy to play to my nieces and nephews who had taken a shine to him and the music! Everybody got up to dance and the repertoire was brilliant. Made for a proper party feel. All in all when I saw people afterwards the general gist from everybody was 'great party - but I really loved the band'. So I guess the only problem is that they were everybody's highlight! ;-) Highly recommend Billy and the band to anybody having a party, or for any gig for that matter. Diolch yn fawr Billy - you made a great night even better!

We booked Billy and his band to perform their Gypsy Style Jazz for our wedding evening reception and we couldn't have been happier with their performance. The intoxicating energy if their performance appealed to all our guests. Billy was also accommodating and versatilile enough to perform a special request for us as our first dance, originally intended as a duet between Billy and our Pianist, Billy and his band were able to arrange the entire peice to include their 5 members with less than 40 minutes rehearsal time... And the results were spectacular, and a testiment to the outstanding skill these guys possess. A great night and a wonderful band. 5 stars doesn't do them justice!

We booked Billy Thompson for the launch of our new Lifestyle store in Ruthin - so glad we did! The music was fabulous, musicians, passionate and the music made the evening. Everyone enjoyed it and are still talking about it. Will definitely be booking him again and have no hesitation in highly recommending him. Talented - Professional and a Genuine Happy Person. A special birthday in July 2011 at the Norwegian Church - a lovely venue for Billy and the band to play and create a special atmosphere. Billy played for us in August 2006 at our wedding reception - hot off the stage in Brecon Jazz. HGM
